An on-going labor dispute between the Buffalo Public Schools and teachers union has heated up once again. WBFO's senior reporter Eileen Buckley says it involves some teacher transfers at City Honors School.

February 27 was the original target date to transfer five and a half teachers out of City Honors School, but the issue is held up in court.  WBFO's senior reporter Eileen Buckley says a labor dispute has not been resolved between the Buffalo Public School District and teachers' union.

City Honors parents in Buffalo say planned teacher cuts at their school would cause a major disruption for students.  WBFO's senior reporter Eileen Buckley says this all revolves around a dispute over non-teaching duties. She spoke to a parent, the city school district and Buffalo Teachers Federation.

Some Buffalo Public school parents say they believe the Buffalo Teachers Federation (BTF) is attempting to 'sabotage progress' in the city school district. WBFO's senior reporter Eileen Buckley says members of the District Parent Coordinating Council (DPCC) have two major concerns.
