The number of arrests for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) made in Erie County this year is on track to match the 2018 figure of 2,408, according to county data released Tuesday.

Thousands of people will head to downtown Buffalo Thursday night to ring in the new year. Those celebrations typically involve drinking and one local company is offering free rides to party-goers who may find themselves too drunk to drive.
