Charges against Evander Kane may be dismissed next March

Local hockey star Evander Kane's charges in relation to a bar confrontation last June may be dismissed early next spring, if the Buffalo Sabres forward stays out of further legal trouble until then.


Another key injury has hit the Buffalo Sabres early in the 2016-17 campaign. Just days after star forward Jack Eichel went down, Evander Kane suffered an injury in the season opener that will sideline him for several weeks. Sabres reporter Bill Hoppe talks about that and the team's first three games on this week's edition of WBFO's Behind The Bench.

Pretrial proceedings continued Friday morning in Buffalo City Court in the case of a Buffalo Sabres player charged in a summer incident inside a Chippewa District bar.
