Forbes magazine has released its annual rankings of the worth of the 32 National Football League franchises and the Buffalo Bills are in last place on the list.

Study finds Buffalo 9th most liberal city in America

Researchers have been studying American cities to survey how their elected officials and their policies reflect the political views of their constituents. The study found Buffalo is the ninth most liberal city in the nation.

The list of bidders interested in the Buffalo Bills appears to be short. A national publication reports the bids are coming in below the expected sale price.

Buffalo ranked most affordable city in America

Buffalo has been named the most affordable city in America by Forbes magazine.

Forbes magazine has ranked Buffalo 10th on its list of America's Most Dangerous Cities.  

Detroit, St. Louis and Oakland top the list.  Forbes ranked cities with a population of over 200,000 based on violent crime rates.  

Using FBI statistics, Buffalo had  more than 1,200 violent crimes per 100,000 residents.  Forbes noted that the city's crime rate has dropped steadily since the 1990's.  

Buffalo Police Commissioner Daniel Derenda says he takes issue with the magazine's characterization.

Though violent crime decreased in Buffalo last year, the city still finds itself among the nation's most dangerous.

Detroit, St,Louis and Oakland sit atop the list.

FBI statistics show Buffalo with 1,238 violent crimes per 100.000 residents.

Detroit reported over 2,100 violent crimes per 100,000 residents.
