New York State is making it easier for the families of murder victims to cover the burial costs for their loved ones.

Acting on a bill sponsored by two state lawmakers from Western New York, Governor Cuomo has signed a new law that will allow the grandchildren of murder victims to be reimbursed for counseling.

Buffalo Police say four people have been arrested in connection with a gun incident this weekend in the Central Park neighborhood. Police are investigating whether the four suspects may be connected to recent shootings in the area.
