A major narcotics pipeline has been eliminated in Jamestown. Forty-seven people have been charged in a drug distribution network that funneled heroin from Philadelphia and New York City to Jamestown.

The federal courthouse that overlooks Niagara Square in downtown Buffalo now officially bears the name of Robert H. Jackson.

Chief Justice of the United States John Roberts made an appearance in Western New York Friday. The Buffalo native spoke at the Robert H. Jackson Center in Jamestown.

Chief Justice John Roberts was born in Buffalo in 1955.  He returns to his Western New York  roots Friday with a visit to the Robert H. Jackson Center in Jamestown.

Bill Engvall will headline Lucille Ball Festival

Earlier Friday, organizers announced the lineup for this summer's Lucille Ball Comedy Festival in Jamestown.  Standup comic star Bill Engvall will headline the event, becoming  the latest in big-name acts to perform at the emerging Chautauqua County event.

An openly gay member of the Jamestown City Council says he was thrilled to hear President Obama call for equal rights for gays in his inauguration speech. 

A Jamestown city councilman has stepped down from his post as chairman of the council's Public Safety Committee, following his arrest for an alleged incident at a bar this past weekend. 

Michael Taylor, a Democrat who represents the city's Third Ward, has been charged with felony criminal mischief.
