Students in the Lancaster School District begin voting on a new mascot name Tuesday. The Lancaster School Board recently approved removal of the former 'Redskins' name.  Middle and Elementary students will submit their ballots today and high school students vote tomorrow. WBFO'S Focus on Education Reporter Eileen Buckley checked in with Native American John Kane who is pleased to see the former Redskin name removed. 

School budgets approved in Erie and Niagara counties

School budgets across Erie and Niagara counties were approved Tuesday night as well as propositions in several districts. Voters also elected new School Board members in a few districts plagued by recent controversies.
