Celebrating women in a fight against discrimination

Women's History Month was celebrated in the lobby of Buffalo's City Hall Monday. This year's national theme is ‘Women fighting against all forms of discrimination against women’.

Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul said Monday that New York State, which has set a goal of fifty percent solar energy usage by the year 2030, has expanded its solar energy by 1000 percent since 2011. She joined a group of educators and renewable energy advocates at McKinley High School to make the announcement.


Maid of the Mist

A plan is in the works to help prevent more "black water" and other illegal discharges into the lower Niagara River. Gov. Andrew Cuomo will be calling on the State Legislature to fund major improvements to the Niagara Falls Wastewater Treatment Plant.
