Public forum on legal marijuana bill held in Buffalo

A bill sponsored in Albany by a Buffalo-based Assemblywoman, one that would legalize limited amounts of marijuana, was the topic of a forum hosted in Buffalo's City Hall on Wednesday.


New York State continues to make strides towards authorizing cannabis for medical treatment. Many are jumping on the medical marijuana industry band wagon.

Canada's justice minister describes it as only a small adjustment.  But politically it's a huge  policy shift for a government that's fought any suggestion of easing the country's marijuana laws.  Ottawa is now looking at allowing police to write tickets for illegal possession of small amounts of marijuana.
