Members of Western New York's LGBT community are taking part in a special show of support for the people of Orlando, Florida. A gunman there killed 49 people and injured 50 others inside a gay nightclub on June 12.

Today is a solemn day for members of Buffalo's LGBT community. Locally, it's the Transgender Day of Remembrance - a day set aside to memorialize people killed due to anti-transgender hatred and prejudice.


When it comes to beer in Buffalo, everything old is new again. That's the view of two authors, Ethan Cox and Michael Rizzo, who say the emergence of microbreweries in Buffalo, in some ways, reflects the atmosphere of decades ago when there was a heavy presence of beer makers throughout the city.
