Tai Chi enthusiasts and a senior citizen line dance class were just some of the demonstrations seen at a health fair at the Buffalo and Erie County Central Library on Wednesday. The fair is part of National Minority Health month. Booths of different health awareness concerns lined the 2nd floor of the library.

Some of the largest disparities in health in Erie County are happening in the City of Buffalo. A public conference this weekend aims to start trying to fix them.

In the wake of the death and injuries in Charlottesville, around 100 protestors turned out Sunday night at Elmwood and Bidwell Avenues in Buffalo. Protestors said they were there in solidarity with those in the Virginia University city who were protesting a white supremacist event.

A group of local ministers held a vigil Sunday afternoon at Mount Olive Baptist Church on East Delavan. The event focused on last week's violence in which two black men were shot by police officers and  five police officers in Dallas were shot and killed.
