Bishop Richard Malone is again apologizing to parishioners of the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo. A letter from the Bishop is being read at Masses this weekend in the wake Attorney General Barbara Underwood's decision to begin an investigation into clergy abuse statewide.

It is a difficult time for the Catholic Church in the wake of the priest sexual abuse scandal.  But a church in Amherst is holding a special service this Friday to pray for abuse victims, as well as priests and the faithful.  WBFO's senior reporter Eileen Buckley spoke with the pastor of St. Leo the Great Church on Sweet Home Road about dealing with the devastating scandal.

Catholic diocese eliminates its TV production unit

The Catholic Diocese of Buffalo is eliminating its television production unit. Daybreak TV Productions will cease operations next month. Eight staff members of the unit will be laid off.

Two local priests have been placed on administrative leave following complains of abuse.
