Amigone Funeral Home is headed back to State Sumpreme Court, in downtown Buffalo, Friday. People living feet away from the company's crematory, on Sheridan Drive, in Tonawanda, are suing to shut the operation down. The neighbors say foul and toxic emissions from the crematory are ruining their quality of life and their health.

If local Democrats turn out in large numbers and vote the party line Tuesday it could spell trouble for state Senator Chris Jacobs. The Buffalo Republican is seeking re-election in the 60th district where registered Democrats outnumber registered Republicans by a nearly two-to-one margin.

The Buffalo Zoo's Reptile House is now closed for renovations.

The list of updates includes a new roof, heating and ventilation system, new and renovated exhibits and interactive educational elements. Zoo President and CEO, Norah Fletchall says, the building is in desperate need of improvements. Fletchall says it was built in 1942 under the leadership of the great Marlin Perkins.

New York State Senator Chris Jacobs of Buffalo is renewing his push for term limits for all elected state leaders, that would include the Governor and State Attorney General.   WBFO's senior reporter Eileen Buckley said Jacobs met with reporters in downtown Buffalo Friday morning at the Mahoney State Office building.

Albany is sending the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library System some additional aid. At the Central Library, in Buffalo, Thursday, Senator Chris Jacobs said, that he's secured $120,000 in education funding for branches in his district.
