The developer who hired Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown's right-hand man, Steve Casey, has also hired one of the nation's top stadium design firms. The moves have sparked more speculation regarding the possible location of a new stadium for the Buffalo Bills.

Steve Casey's resignation on Tuesday as Buffalo Deputy Mayor comes just days after George Maziarz announced he would not seek re-election to the state Senate this fall. Buffalo News political reporter Bob McCarthy says the moves will bring major changes to the local political landscape.
