As the fourth anniversary of the devastating storms Irene and Lee approaches, the Cuomo Administration says it’s more ready than ever for hurricanes, floods, and other adverse weather events.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is blasting lawmakers on Capital Hill for failing to help victims of Superstorm Sandy.

The devastation that struck New York City and other regions of the northeast after superstorm Sandy should not have come as a surprise, according to a series of reports.

Governor Cuomo says Hurricane Sandy caused more damage than Hurricane Katrina, and is now asking for $41 billion from the federal government. Cuomo says New York’s congressional delegation has promised the help.
