Buffalo Sabres general manager Tim Murray held his end-of-season news conference Wednesday, looking back on a hockey season that he readily admitted was a disappointing one.

The Buffalo Sabres have announced that their first round pick from this year's draft has been signed.

Buffalo Sabres General Manager Tim Murray says it's frustrating that the latest controversy surrounding forward Evander Kane became public before all the facts are in. The allegations surrounding Kane involve some sort of disturbance at a Chippewa bar early Friday morning.

The Buffalo Sabres used the second day of the NHL draft at the First Niagara Center Saturday to engineer a trade. The Sabres traded Defenseman Mark Pysyk and the 38th and 89th selections in the draft to Florida for Panthers Defenseman Dmitry Kulikov and the draft's 33rd pick.
