As the holidays approach and the year comes to a close, Buffalo Niagara Film Commissioner Tim Clark reflects on the activity that took place in Western New York this year and reassures all of us that yes, Virginia, a new holiday film shot in East Aurora will be making its debut on local TV soon. WBFO’s Pat Feldballe speaks with Tim on this week's Press Pass.


Last weekend, a film shot here in Western New York starring WNY native William Fichtner, who also wrote and directed "Cold Brook," made its debut at the Woodstock New York Film Festival and won the prestigous Carpe Diem Andretta Award. Among those in attendance for the screening was Buffalo Niagara Film commissioner Tim Clark, who joins Pat Feldballe on this week's edition of WBFO's Press Pass.

Remember last summer when Western New York was all abuzz for a special film crew in town? Behind the camera for the first time was a "Chicktowaga" native. (Yes, he still pronounces it that way.) Veteran actor William Fichtner chose his hometown as the backdrop for his directorial debut, "Cold Brook."
